You may know that I have recently just moved to England from Australia. England is very cold compared to Australia in the winter, but there hasn’t been much snow, which is what I’m hoping for!

England is 59 times smaller than Australia but is 2.5 times more populous then Australia.

Some of England’s native animals are the Fox, the Badger, the Red Deer, the Hedgehog, and the Red Squirrel.

Big Ben is not actually the name of the clock; it is the name of the bell inside the clock.

Nowhere in the UK is more than 113km from the sea. A place called Coton in the Elms is the furthest place from the sea.

Windsor Castle it the oldest castle in the world that is still used.

There are more chickens than people in England!

London hasn’t always been called London. It has also been called Londonium, Ludenwic and Ludenburg!
